1) Probably the biggest thing that sets us apart from other wedding studios is our dedication to totally please each and every one of our clients. We will stop at nothing to do this, and we have accomplished this over and over again, year after year. We will be happy to give you any number of references from our past clientele.
2) We attend several workshops a year to study with the top wedding photographers in the world. This not only keeps us inspired, but also allows us to keep up with the trends in the wedding industry and continue to improve our work and our products. By continueing our education, we can provide any number of styles to our brides, from the very traditional to the contemporary, to the extreme fine art style. We don't call ourselves photojournalist or traditionalist, we can provide our brides with a variety of styles to fit her individual personality.
3) We are dedicated to provide the best customer service in the business. In order to do this, we only allow for 40 wedding commissions per year. Unlike many other studios, we only photograph one wedding per day, and Leslie and I will be there from start to finish! We would never leave your wedding for an assistant to finish so we can go start another one. We will give you that in writing!
4) Leslie and I are the only two photographers at Robert Faust Photography. We hire no outside help! You will deal with us exclusively throughout the entire planning process to ensure that you get the quality and personal service you deserve.
5) Each and every photograph will be professionally cropped, color corrected, and enhanced before you see them. We also include retouching on close up images at no additional charge. All this takes a lot of time and work, but it's what we do!
6) No matter what plan you select, your completed wedding album will be only the finest quality on the market today. All of our albums come from the finest album companies in the world! We do not force any one album style on any of our clients, we offer a variety of styles for each style of bride we work with. Be sure to compare our albums to our competitors, not only for album quality but also compare the layout and design. You will see a difference!
7) Leslie, an accomplished graphic artist, as well as a photographer, designs all of our albums in house. This allows us ultimate control over your finisihed product. We don't beleive in using our processing lab or other outside designers to design our albums in an attempt to save money. Leslie will sometimes spend up to 30 hours on one design until it is tweaked to perfection. I challenge you to show me an outside designer or other studio that will do that!
8) Yes, we do still give a proof album with our pre-designed plans, and it is not uncorrected loose 4x6" photographs. Our proof album includes every image, professionally cropped, color corrected, enhanced and retouched, encased in a nice metro leather cover. Our proof pages are actual photographs and not press printed pages!
9) We do not supplement our income photographing high school seniors, children, sports photos, etc. Weddings are what we love and what we do! We have to do a better job. We have been voted "Best Wedding Photographers in LA" 5 years by the Professional Photographers of LA organization.
10) Because of my dedication to wedding photography over the years, I have earned all 4 degrees offered by the Professional Photographers of America organization, the largest and most respected photographrs organization in the world. I have also earned my Certification. Only 6 other photographers in the entire world have been able to achieve this goal! Shouldn't that put you more at ease?
There are so many choices out there today. Whether you decide on Robert Faust Photography or another studio, we strongly encourage to choose your photographer very wisely!! Wedding photographs cannot be done over! I have years of experience photographing weddings, over 27 to be exact
Don't be drawn in by the guy that purchased a semi-professional camera, and because of their inexperience, call themselves "Photojournalists" . There's a lot more to wedding photography than buying a good camera, unfortunately many brides don't find this out until it is too late!
When considering a photographer, Ask to see their credentials. If they don't have any, there's probably a reason!
